Reconnecting

After reconnecting with a former colleague I hadn’t seen in twenty years, I was reminded of just how important professional companionship is. Back then, we shared not only our work but also countless laughs and relied on each other as resources and friends. Now, with both of us running our own firms, we reflected on how much we miss that daily camaraderie. As professionals, it's easy to get caught up in the demands of our practices, but it's vital to remember that meaningful connections with colleagues enrich both our personal and professional lives.
I encourage everyone to take a moment and reach out to someone from your past—whether it’s an old colleague or friend. Reconnecting and sharing those past experiences can reignite a network that is invaluable both professionally and personally. These relationships provide not only support but also joy and inspiration, which are essential for thriving in both work and life.
